AIF Conference - In Person - AIF MEMBERS ONLY.

THE THEME IS NEW PATHWAYS - JOURNEYING TOGETHER

**The Day**

Our conference takes place on Saturday 10 October at The Royal Foundation of St Katharine, 2 Butcher Row, Limehouse, London E14 8DS — a remarkable urban oasis with a history stretching back to 1147, set in tranquil gardens just moments from the Thames. The day runs from 10.30am to 5pm, with doors open from 9.30am for coffee and fellowship.

We will be joined by **Doral Hayes**, CTE Principal Officer for Ecumenical Development and Relations — many of you will know Doral as a former AIF Executive Officer — who will offer two presentations exploring the current ecumenical landscape, and what the lived experience of interchurch couples has to teach the wider Church about Christian unity.

**Fr Dominic Robinson SJ** will celebrate Mass in the chapel and join us for an AIF update over lunch.

The full programme is set out below.

**Booking**

Places are £50 per person, which includes lunch and all refreshments throughout the day. As always, if cost is a barrier please don't let it stop you — financial assistance is available, and you are warmly invited to contact us in confidence.

We have places for 35–40 people. **Please book as soon as possible.** Any places not taken up by AIF members by 31 August will be offered more widely, and bookings will close on 30 September.

**The Evening**

After the conference, we will be gathering for drinks from around 5.15pm. This is a lovely independent neighbourhood pub, named in honour of Limehouse's most famous MP, with no obligation to stay for longer — whether you join us for one drink before heading home, or settle in for the evening, all are welcome.

Cost of the drinks and evening meal is not included in the conference fee and will be settled individually on the night.

Last year a few people reported difficulties in paying the charges or donating online, and others were concerned at the mention that the online payment service is provided by PayPal. Please note that you don’t have to pay online – we are very happy if you wish to pay by bank transfer (commonly called “BACS transfer” – the details for doing so are on the booking form) or by cheque. If you do want to use the online option, please bear in mind that PayPal is just the provider of the service allowing us to receive online payments; you don’t have to have an account with PayPal, and neither will you be added to their customer database if you use the service. They are just the “behind the scenes” software company that makes it all work (just the same as any other online payment system).
